To most people
Hell is an abstract place.
It's a realm of suffering,
If pain and torture,
And they can only speculate as to what it will be.

I know differently.
I have trudged through the halls of the cursed place.
I have seen the horrors,
Heard the laughter of those demons.
And the worst part?
It looked just like earth.

One solar rotation since that point,
And I still see the visions.
Those monsters that tormented me,
Hours of running and hiding,
But how can you hid from your own mind?

One solar rotation since that point,
And I can still hear my brothers,
Those that I love with all my heart,
Throwing a knife at my feet,
Sneering at me and uttering one phrase,
"Just end it already you pathetic piece of shit."
One solar rotation since that point,
And the rupture in my mind is still apparent,
Having given birth to my other half,
The other "me",
It has never closed.

One solar rotation since that point,
And I have never truely left that hell.
I've said that I was fine,
That those visions and sounds,
Those sensations felt on that wicked night were gone,
But I lied.

I still see them when I close my eyes.
I hear them at night,
Only sleeping for a few hours at a time.
And it is so much worse right now.

One solar rotation since that point,
And I'm am still reliving my
Hell on earth
