Just confused

Hurt, Blinding my senses. Throwing me into, Total confusion. Should I be sad, Or should I smile? What emotion, Should I show. What facial gestures, Must I make. Happiness is so much, Easier to fake. Is this good, Or is this bad? Do such terms exist, In this universe.

Honey

emotions , sometimes thick and sweet . rolling down your spine with joy . bursting in your mind with love . emotions , other times cold and bare . ripping at your heart with pain . plaguing your steps (slow and weak ) with sadness . emotions , always there . holding you down (a puppet ) with dominance.

Broken

I want to feel loved And cared for And happy I want to feel free And careless And wild I want to feel hate And stress And darkness I just want to feel something worthwhile Because I have been left broken

Music

Music is something else It's like taking a bath in your emotions When you're underwater You hear nothing but Pure music Pure you

* * *

I want to see your face under the moonlight, I want to see you in the last rays of the sun, I want to see you first thing in the morning, When the rain pours and the snow falls. I want to see you in your happiest moments and your saddest hours. I want to see the way your face lights up when you talk about something you love, I want to see the way you look at me when I turn away, The face you make when you're concentrating or thinking. I crave the simplicity of your raw human emotion and the bitter complexities of it. Let me feel how you embrace those you love, How you hold someone's hand or wipe away their tears. Let me see everything that you are and everything that you want to be.

The Wind Shifts

This is how the wind shifts: Like the thoughts of an old human, Who still thinks eagerly And despairingly. The wind shifts like this: Like a human without illusions, Who still feels irrational things within her. The wind shifts like this: Like humans approaching proudly, Like humans approaching angrily. This is how the wind shifts: Like a human, heavy and heavy, Who does not care.

Two Sonnets to My Wife II

My wife relents to life and does not speak Each moment with a deft and rapid note. Sometimes a clumsy weirdness finds in her throat And ushers in a music that is weak And bargains with the groping of her heart. But even then she plays with graver tones That do not sell themselves to laughs and moans But seek the counsel of a deeper art. She drapes her loud emotions in a shroud Of glistening thought that waves above their dance And sometimes parts to show their startled eyes. The depths of mind within her have not bowed To sleek emotion with its amorous glance. She slaps its face and laughs at its surprise!
