in the haze of the afternoon
drinking too much
my empty wishing
Are shooting star wishes real?
Would you lie down with me if I asked?
Lets gaze upon the stars,
Let's wait for shooting stars to make our wishes'
My wish is we fall in love to our last breaths,
Like the way shooting stars fall to earth
No matter where we fall,
In good and bad, For better for worse,
In poorer and richer, In pain and happiness,
Let's take-off to an abandoned place,
where we can live alone in the forgotten times
At the roof line
blue sky windows reveal
wishes only.
I wish and I wish
And I wish I were
A golden bee
In the blue of the air,
Winging my way
At the mouth of day
To the honey marges
Of Loch-ciuin-ban;
Or a little green drake,
Or a silver swan,
Floating upon
The stream of Aili,
And I to be swimming
Gaily, gaily!
From Amberley to Storrington,
From Storrington to Amberley,
From Amberley to Washington
You cannot see or smell the sea.
But why the devil should you wish
To see the home of silly fish ?
Since I prefer the earth and air,
The fish may wallow in the sea
And live the life that they prefer,
If they will leave the land to me,
So wish for each what he may wish,
The earth for me, the sea for fish.
Many birds and the beating of wings
Make a flinging reckless hum
In the early morning at the rocks
Above the blue pool
Where the gray shadows swim lazy.
In your blue eyes, O reckless child,
I saw today many little wild wishes,
Eager as the great morning.
