Pain cuts like a knife, Hard for me to breathe. Knowing what happen, Enable to believe. Losing almost everything, When he walked out the door. Heart shattered to pieces, Smashing to the floor. Picking myself up, After laying on the tile. Overcome with hatred. Feeling so vile. Thoughts racing fast, Zooming right by. Many points in my life, I wanted to die. Looked into the mirror, But never seen it then. The faces of my kids, Were hidden within. But I see it now, No longer wish for death. Growing so fast, Gotta take a breathe. Sit back and watch, How big they’ve gotten. Have to live for them, That part was forgotten. They need me now, More than God himself. I finally realized, The meaning of wealth.
