White Flamingo

I stand alone, With backward bended knees. Their eyes on me, Just because I'm different. Memories of that old story, "The ugly duckling." I feel his pain... I know his despair. The waters glisten of pink... As they dance on the lillies. But the waters around me remain deadstill. I see it coming through the dark skies, Here it comes ... The light ! , The warmth ! It touches my body, My angelic shine, I steal their attention ! The water is mine !
