While My Piano Gently Weeps

Happy and wistful, I wrote it for you. While reminiscing of our time together, I wrote it for you. Maybe I screwed up; Maybe you screwed up. Either way, I wrote it for you. Do you like the song? I wrote it for you. Do you feel my soul Amongst the blots and lines? Do you hear it? When I sit at the keyboard, I remember you. As the music flows from the tips of my fingers, I think of the reason The music comes: I wrote it for you.

(Disclaimer: I never dated the person this poem is dedicated to. He simply deserves a poem of this nature dedicated to him. I was inspired by Yiruma's "May Be.")
