The Loud Silence

Like an old abandoned house, I sit alone in the silence. I lose my sanity to the wind that constantly bangs the window to my heart. Slowly it shatters and the pain becomes a normal feeling. Watching you leave without a trace, makes me want to look for you, But what makes you want to see me again, Your loud silence is enough to make me know my place, So I give you the freedom and warmth you long for, As I sit by myself in the pouring rain.
