Dear Little Girl

Dear little girl, who appears to me nightly, and keeps me wondering why I keep on fighting when I know I'll never change. A broken promise beside water as it flows "Promise me you'll never tell." and sighs just right in adolescent 'innocence'. Dear little girl, who sees me dreaming about you don't you know I think about you too every night and day, "I don't see another way." Dear little girl, who I now know is me, do you know I don't love you or who you came to be? "I love you too." Dear little girl, who loved me and held me tightly, and keeps me wondering why I keep on fighting when I know I can't help myself. A broken promise as we both swear "I'll let you take me there." and gets all the breaths inhaling the 'blessed' air.
