Hope

All I can do is hope for the prince to break my fall, Or hope that the monsters won't read my ideas, There was a time when I could be safe in my own mind, And nobody was hurt by my thoughts, There was a time when I could be safe in my own home, And nobody would look through the windows and judge,

I can hope for a love that will mend my scarred heart, Or that I will be confident and stand up to the monsters, I can get back the time where I was safe in my mind and home, And nobody would look down on me and think me less,

When I have a child I can hope for her to be strong, For school days can kill your faries and santa clauses, I'll erge her on and make sure shes strong, I will never judge, I will only hope.
