Poem Two: Defender

Joe SnappeInspired

it was years ago now, a nightmare a scary story When asked I'll say I don't remember. But I do. I do and so I stand to defend Defend the others who would otherwise fall Fall victim to you, monster. Draw your sword. Though you are bigger, Though you are stronger, I am smarter, I am braver, You will not win.

This poem is about being sexually abused as a child and was written for a poetry class.
