A Charm Bracelet
While digging through my old belongings, I found an old bracelet wrapped in a piece of stocking, It had a silver chain, On it hung a metal lion with a flowing mane, A small bottle filled with blue sand, A dangle of beads from some faraway land, A bright red crab, A miniature of a sign for a cab, Wooden beads with painted bluebells, tulips and lilies of the valley, A bent bottle cap that I found in an alley, A yellowed photo in a locket, I smiled and slipped the bracelet into my pocket.
