Garden of me

KGBlackAngry

First I tore open my chest. Let you hear my heart weep. And when you turned away, I locked it up, made sure it never saw day.

Then I opened my head. Let you mess with my thoughts. Riddle me with traces of you. And when you left, I locked it up again and threw away the key.

Lastly I let you near. Opened my gates and let you walk in. My biggest regret of them all, Because you're locked inside.

I wish you could leave. I don't want you here. Get out of my head. Disappear.

But like a parasite you stay. Causing problems whilst blissfully unaware. Must be nice to run free In the garden of me.
