Growing up

Isn't it sad, How parents always say "Oh I missed the old you."

How they so casually mourn your death In front of you.

So let's join them. Make a box, That's bright pink, Filled with all of our dead dreams.

Let's fill it with forgotten memories, Friends that didn't last , Betrayal and heartbreak Times when we actully laughed.

Let's carefully put in a vile of our tears. More bitter and salty then when we were kids. Let's place down all the things that changed us All the things that killed us.

Don't forget to blast you favorite songs, As you walk to the resting place of you. Have you hair the way you used to, Wear the clothes that don't fit you.

Now let's dig a hole. Smother the box in all the stickers we never used and markers that never got the chance to run dry. Drop it in and sprinkle your favorite sweets on top.

Say a final farewell and leave the grave behind. Goodbye me.

Though you were fun to be with, The world thought otherwise. Mom and dad still miss you, So don't worry You'll still be alive in thier eyes.

But for now, I know it's hard, Try to say hello.

Hello, To the new me.
