That's The Problem

Lowercased lynContemplative

I don't know how to deal with anger That's caused by myself

If it were with another person, You could argue with them, Or get violent

If you get mad at yourself, And argue with yourself That's not "normal"

But No one gives advice to make peace with yourself No one is open minded enough to think about it

That's the problem

Getting mad at yourself is like Boiling water Your optimistic and pessimistic self are arguing Turning the handle from high to low You keep switching from calm to ticked off But you don't control who turns the handle Until

The scorching water overflows onto the stove The pessimistic self takes over And you've made another mistake One that only harms you

That's the problem

I'm a doctor I give people medication when needed And advice to get healthier But when I fall sick

I don't know what to do I don't know how to take my own medicine

That's the problem
