There are women

Lydie TOUREInspired

There are women who cry Late at night Night owls Who wish to die Can't close their eyes, Ever. Never will sleep again

Awaken by their nightmares

And the reality of world

Guilty of the crime Of not being a man

There are luckier ones, Those who sleep Through the same thunders Or diffierent ones, Oh All the same struggle Of womanhood: All against one of these ladies. There are women who fight alone, But her fight Should have been ours And my fights Should be yours too I am a lot of us In a man's world Surviving alone But soon Thriving as a whole.
