The Regal Flower

The flower stands tall like a queen her petals reaching to the light of day sparkling softly while dewdrops lay innocently on her leafs She slowly dances to the music with her partner, the wind and the earth underneath gives a feast of love Soon the season comes and bees flutter around her face leaving behind a bright future Her seed jump high and fly like birds to the sky to find another place to bring joy The queen gazes sadly as the last of her seed dances away then slowly one petal falls and then the other until her once regal crown, has withered away She shoots one last longing look to the sun who she always longed to kiss and then whispers her goodbyes to the world in which she lived But her roots will forever hold her and one day she will rise again with another crown with another song to dance to with another life to live
