Forgive my call

I couldn't fathom your words. They pierced my being and Ached my throat How could my response arrive, When my hearing impaired By your words.

I couldn't fathom your words As they clenched my heart And tore my mind I was a while away From getting to the end When my feet became motionless

I couldn't fathom your words That which stealthily captured my faculties As I tried to keep my hands still There it betrayed me Your words were as sharp as a razor And potent than a night gun

I couldn't fathom your words But I understood 'em well No! Irrelevant I made them Yet penetrating. I wouldn't call yet I called I wouldn't cry yet I wept.

What did I do wrong?
