Goodbye petal

Balanced upon a tree branch, sways a single petal, clinging to the centre of its flower, the wind kisses its skin, carrying its scent in the breeze , goodbye flower; the wind gently but firmly tugs , the petal loosens its grip , moving through the air in utter nothingness surrounded by everything, irregular rays of light peak though a small canopy of leaves , sunbeams get dabbles on its cheek , slowly floating closer to the ground , goodbye flower; the fall lasts forever and is quickly over , surrendering to the earth , it lays sprawled out on the floor , cosily nestled in the vastness , exhaling its life and inhaling a new one Goodbye flower. In the end , the petal sinks into the earth taking with it all evidence it was ever there, Goodbye petal ; i will miss you .
