Entering the industrial world of the concrete Cackles of the drunk sound through the streets like hungry hyenas Artificial light shines from the windows of tall buildings, lighting up every imperfection on their ugly faces A golden harvest moon towers over the concrete streets The only natural light to be seen Stray cats fight, desperate for every morsel of food Screeches and howls into the night like eerie ghouls, hungry for a midnight snack Sirens howl like wolves through the night Predators, searching for victims of blood-thirsty crimes Another life taken by the power-hungry killers whom stalk through the night Was that a pair of eyes? Or just an illusion But tell me this If it were you in the night Cold and alone Would you be brave?
