It is I

Its in the rivers, oh how it haunts Me Its in the lakes and all the seas No matter where I look, They're always taunting me

I stray away from glass, ponds And the little dams, I stay upon the hill and watch The water from the sand

Oh, how I hate them For they know what I am, A once happy girl within the waves, Now on the sand

To gaze upon the truth, The misery of what I am, I will not like what I see, Nor will I pretend For beauty is skin deep and I'm far from a ten

So, I'll be where I always am, Sitting by myself On a hill, Upon the sand
