In love with life

I fall in love with life every day Every day it's in a different way Maybe it's the way the first snow falls at the end of November, Maybe it's the way the leaves change colors as summer ends

Maybe it's the rain cleansing the earth of its sins Or maybe it's a field of dandelions

Or two butterflies flying with no care in the world Or maybe it's the way my dog rolls around in the fresh grass Or the way my grandmother's cat curls up to me Maybe it's the moon lighting up a hot summer night Or the way the ocean waves crash into the shore I fall in love with life every single day And i think it's the best feeling, after being numb for so long
