The Walls

PuppyAnxious

eggshell wallpaper with veinless eyes white pupils that bore into my skin teeth inside the pillow biting my hair eyes under the bed waiting for my feet blood, blood, don't get it on the white sheets and nobody's listening for your screams pillows pressed on each ear. you can't breathe wood that creaks inside of your ears freshly waxed throat, the throbbing, swelling don't even move, don't even think at all everyone hears you, we're all listening 'your bones must taste so good cleaned off' your bones must taste so good cleaned off

Here's a little poem about my nighttime paranoia. Sometimes I'll hear a noise or just feel something off and I'll feel completely paralysed. Deep down it's all an illogical fear, but it's so terrifying in the moment to think the walls are watching you and want to hurt you.
