The Two Worlds

Originally I had thought we couldn't have been driven further apart, When I left my earthly state of being And wondered far into less seen realms, Which, in belief exist But in reality do not exist. I could obscure myself no more in the unseen And no more on hollow plains in semi-existence, So I had come calling back to keep your shade company Like you never quite can, And delight in being a spirit of life In the omnipresence which I ghost your world with. Every little breathing creature that may be looked upon in familiarity Looks back with a certain knowing And every quiet word that escapes your lips Shall hear some hint of a voice on the ceaseless wind, Along with some phantom vision fleeting through your sight. I am still here.
