Chipped Apart

She is slowly falling apart, parts of her breaking away on the inside.

People believe her when she says she's okay.

She doesn't want people to believe her.

They should ask what's wrong.

Can't they see how broken she is?

If they can't, why can't they look deeper.

They just don't care to believe she has inner turmoil.

They don't want to admit that they did wrong.

That they watched as she slowly crumbled down.

They don't want others to see how she was chipped apart.

Piece by piece from within, and they did nothing.
