My Home

shypoetContemplative

The fog rolled out and the waves beckoned... As the moon's pale light triumphed over light clouds and the dark night... Causing my heart to beat in perfect harmony with the crashing waves and calling wind...

A symphony begun I stepped into the water and was welcomed with a salty splash... The ocean was where I belonged... It was my home... Yet the home I know keeps its secrets well...

Even as we plunder its depths and destroy its life... My home is still fighting... Because it is still in grave danger
