Vulnerable

SmallStarWandererContemplative

I feel a little vulnerable Showing this to you Showing you a part of myself that I thought I left behind But bad habits die hard And sometimes slipping back into them is inevitable for me Somethings like smoke curls around my brain Saying you'll stare at me different Like I'm wrong and disgusting and you'll leave Something with a voice like thorns yells in my ear Reminding me to never show my soft spots after years of hardening my skin Something with a calm and soothing mind protects my heart Reminding me that people worry out of love and will stick with me if they are true

I feel a little vulnerable Telling all of this to you
