Birthday

I have a habit; I'm really good at remembering people's birthdays. I'll hear it once, And there it is. Stuck in my head forever. Flows through the mind, Aimlessly, Without reason. Yours, It goes through my head. I acknowledge it, Know that it's yours, And try to move on It's just a birthday right? But the memories cling to that, the thoughts rush to my head, Reaching for something more. You. But it's just a birthday, Right? I remembered it. It floats through my head... Reminding me that it's the only thing I know about you anymore. I wish we still talked.
