Healing Never Healing

R.I.P. Dear Furry. You always were and always will be loved, remembered and cherished.

I will remove all memories of you Burn the cruel pictures, every one. Seeing you locked in a frozen image Remembering you Remembering your moment Remembering and realizing There could never have been another. Thin lacerations like fine brush-strokes From another lifetime Fast disappearing from my naked wrists Are the last of your claim. The world too full of feral malice And you, loved enough not to know You who have left as quietly as you came Your kind leaves long before we do Healing and bruising Bruising and healing.
