Cry From My Heart

People like to watch You Just the way they enjoy the fire Burning everything The way society burns you Down to the very little bit Of your beautiful heart. And you scream and shout of pain But they only hear the symphony of lies While enjoying their martini On a cold winter day. And when the snow is melting Under you Your heart aches And soon, all that's left of you Is just ashes And they cry after you're gone Because gratitude Is much weaker in this world Than regret.
