Define the Odds

“Through tough and good times,” he said, Years back when love was his meditation, Now it’s the medication he’s running from.

In the world of the loving and living,

Gigantic odds with similar limitations,

All these describe the type of heartbreak he experienced.

He was a monster in his own body, A dead person walking, a zombie. He was awake at night,

Insomnia playing the part, just alive.

Never at all did he think of death,

He knew what his purpose was.

He was just blinded by love.

Four letters that turned him into a sadist.

He wasn’t sad,

He was trying to define the odds to those who never seemed to understand.
