I have always wondered
Why people are so eager to love
No matter how much it hurts
Even when falling always leads to a crash
Yet they subject themselves to such a fall
Hard enough to cause us to shatter
Even when they know it may not last
They claim to be love-struck
But I guess that's the problem
You ignore all the red flags
Maybe it is true
Love is blind.
