How to know all my habits?
Strange creatures
with a kind of love.
Oysters, which eat to understand:
water is a spice,
and the surgeon and his wife
work in my bed.
I apologize too much
They say
I don't need to explain myself
They say
It's not your fault
They act this way
In truth
I know
But my mind
Doesn't think so
I was raised
To apologize for everything
There is no changing that
I just wish
You would understand
That bad habits are hard to break
I only ask once.
Okay maybe twice.
Or five, six, seven eight
Hundred times.
Quite many times I admit.
and that's why
the moment I stop, I mean it.
Its not because I quit.
Its simply that I no longer want it.
Its quite controversial to me too
after wanting something for such a long time
After that moment, I never ever want it again.
Not in a million years.
THE END.
I use to cut
But now I don't,
I always think about it
But I never do
I once fell,
now Im sore
If I could go back
I would say stop,
I'd take the knife,
never wanting too go back
But I might in the end.
I can't change the pasts
But I can change the future,
I won't cut like
I used too,
But now I dont have a choice.
Last night when my work was done,
And my estranged hands
Were becoming mutually interested
In such forgotten things as pulses,
I looked out of a window
Into a glittering night sky.
And instantly
I began to feather-stitch a ring around the moon.
