Peter Pan
I walk up to my locker,
And guess what I see?
All of these hurtful words,
Written just for me.
The black inkiness of the marker,
Just sits there and taunts me,
Everyday that passes by.
The permanent marker is not,
Just on the locker.
What it says is now
Perpetually there,
Never to be erased.
The words are now scrawled,
Across my heart,
Permanent as the marker,
On my locker.
marker ink, sharpie that's almost dried out
pretend that veins carry this jet black ink
sharpie pen, marker. and a bitter resolve
a conclusion i've made for an "I love you"
a sour night spent gasping for my breath
because of a day spent begging for tears
ive made a decision, i did make a decision
so sharpie ink pen or maybe it's a marker
either way it's making up for the lost blood
i will let this be enough, im still in control
