Is It Me or You?

Ain't no getting over it is there? Painted blue when you'd rather be neutral. Never asked for emotions, But who ever asked you what you wanted? No one... Dull eyes, unable to cry. Numbed hands, unable to hurt. Crippled heart, unable to leap at the minimal mention of happiness.

Who did this to you? Who made you hallow? Is it really the one you think of? Was told that you were loved, So remind me what love is. Dichotomy, contradicting, Set fire to my carefree decisions. Without hesitation, break me down.

Call that love? Feel it all in my chest, Rising up my throat. A scream, a whimper, a release. Yes, you did this to me. Gave me lies wrapped in purposeful deceit. I hate you, I hate you.

Now it's just tears, Hot and with meaning. To hurt you back, to make you feel how. A heart wrenched into violence, Sink into the darkest part of my thoughts, I hope you can see it, Be utterly and helplessly consumed by it, I want you to feel it.

To feel what it feels like, To never be loved.
