Kingdom of Blood

They said that I'd find water But all I found was blood The cave, a deep dark cover From all I thought I loved And though my heart's a fortress The soldiers are breaking in The soldiers I used to call friends and family Now know that I have sinned And like a weakened kingdom My walls came tumbling down And my blood ran like a river Pooling all around
