i offer you my kindness for nothing but a promise

promise that just like mine, your back is there to lean on

promise that just like mine, your shoulder is there to cry on

promise that just like i, you will listen to the pain

for my kindness it has been abused

for my kindness it has been taken for granted

for my kindness it has been used

i promise you my kindness, please promise the same.
