Stationary

Water is stationary. It is still. Not alive.

I was one with the water. In the land before time. I would rest, In Peace,

But now I rest in peices, And instead of an oyster, The world is my grave, And you get out soon, If you behave,

If the words of a book were real, Instead of lies, The grave would burst with life, And I would be alive,

But instead of a prince to save me, I am sitting in a morgue, In my stationary slumber, Never growing old.
