Twilight

The sun and moon are never in the same place at the same time. But they chase each other around the world. Through the stars they duck and hide. They go down the milky way as if it's a slide. They play and play, And bring joy to the space. And the humans on earth admire their sky, Their beautiful creation of a twilight sky. But soon the sun sets and the moon shines alone. And they are apart until dawn, When sun wakes with a yawn, Friends forever and forever away. Never speaking too much, For the sun and moon can never touch.
