Shatter Me

You can try to shatter my soul You can try to break my spirit You can try to break me But I'll still try to be free

You are shouting Blaming me for things I've never done I'll be standing with a stone base With a few raindrops on my marble face

The sky was clear just a moment ago And I don't know where it had came from But the hurricane had come

There was a smile on my face Light in my eyes But you had to ruin what was bright And snuffed it out like a light

I was supposed to trust you You were supposed to keep me safe I had given you my trust But instead you decided to crush who I was into dust

Yet I'm still here With my soul intact And you still try To make my spirit die

You can try to shatter my soul You can try to take my spirit You can try to break me But I'll still fight to be free

I'm normal I swear
