Confined

The dull, tasteless air Of a small windowless room. The broken bed Which has no function. You don't sleep In this place. You don't dream In this place. They've taken that right Away from you. And you don't get a chance To tell your story Except to the walls Of your small windowless room. You don't smile In a small windowless room. There's nothing to smile about Because all you get Is the broken bed And 4 walls And a roof. You're a person In a box. They don't want there To be hope In that box. So they keep you Locked away, Confined. Because to them, You're just a person Who belongs in a box. You're just a body Filling a small, windowless cell.
