I Am Not Dumb

He sits there With a smile on his face Talking about me While I'm sitting right here. It's like he thinks It's just a decoy Across the table from him. Or maybe, He's just forgotten I may be blind But I am not dumb. He's staring at me Like I'm some foreign Substance he's never seen Before. Then he wants to know Why I'm uncomfortable. Apparently no one told him I may be blind But I am not dumb. Sitting in class He's kicking my chair. He wants to know Why I ask him To stop doing that. He must not have gotten The memo, Someone needs to tell him I may be blind But I am not dumb.
