Parent's letter.

My child, If only you knew, What the world had planned for you.

If only you realized, That love was everywhere that you looked But the pain made it all blurry.

If only you stayed for a little longer. Let me hold you in your arms, While you cried your worries out.

I remember when you first smiled. Took your first step. Filled to the brim with confidence, You conquered.

But you left too early. Too soon have I said goodbye. Left alone in your room, Smelling your clothes and reading your books.

Oh my child, If only you knew How much you killed me too.
