IT STUCK

People ask around "How are you? " "How was your day?" I used to be honest

But life wasn't easy on me It taught me to love with all my heart But to suffer for it twice as hard

But life wasn't the only one Others also taught me a lot But most times what stuck Was what hurt

My parents and brother... They taught me a lot, But what stuck? It stuck that I talk too fast It stuck that I talk too loud It stuck that what I like bothers them So now I feel bad to talk about it It stuck that moment That moment my mom said I was a bad daughter It stuck the moment they showed I let them down

My old teachers also taught me a lot What stuck with me? It stuck that I have to be the best It stuck that I am not enough It stuck that a 60% it's a terrible grade It stuck that I should always compare myself to others It stuck that I should never compare myself to others Confusing right? Always and never compare myself? But that stuck

What got stuck from society? It stuck that I have to have a perfect body It stuck that I am not enough It stuck that I can't have body hair It stuck that I will never be enough It stuck that I have to be perfect It stuck that people care more about looks rather then personality

What stuck from time? It stuck that even the ones who said who would stay, left It stuck that life is gonna make me suffer It stuck that I have to suffer It stuck that I'm not enough for people to stay It stuck that people will show less affection the longer you know them It stuck that the longer you know someone, the less they will show they care It stuck the pain

It all stuck And this I know will stay Forever
