Written by Lil Rabbit Luvs Musikk and labeled "confusion," the poem captures what it's like to love someone whose affection keeps switching on and off. The speaker describes hugs and kisses followed within minutes by silence and cold looks. Closeness and distance trade places so quickly that there's no time to settle into either one.
The second half feels sadder and more painful. The couple still share a bed and still touch, but the partner turns away, and even eye contact doesn't help: "you do not recognize me." The repeated lines "Kiss me / Feel me / Hold me" are then answered by their opposites, "You are not kissing me," as if the speaker has realized the physical gestures are empty. The final line, "You are, no longer happy!", reads like the speaker finally saying out loud what has been hanging in the air. The mood is raw, hurt, and bewildered, with a growing sense of loneliness inside a relationship that still looks intact from the outside.
