Times for Remembering
You, my young brother as young and athletic as you may be will be set sail in the wind, choosing your own path of life we were once inseparable but now I can no longer hold you back from times of joy. I see you out playing the field like it comes natural reminding me of the days when we spent hours exploring golden crops zig zagging through rows of stalk that reach 3 feet above our heads This was where we would find you when we played our silly childhood games in the sweltering sun As I watch sweat drip off of you after days of practice reminders from years ago creep into my mind when you and I would play ring around the rosy. Rain would fall out side the window and I always threw you into the solid plaster when we "fell down" Spending the night in the Emergency Room you were the brother I always protected and now I wasn't the one to hurt you although memories will always come when I think about sending such a young child to earn staples within his head Young brother, you are now set free to live the life of a growing boy, but always remember I'll be your older sister for the times gone bad for you to come to when theres no one else to speak with.
