in the shadows a hasty figure moves flickering eyes spot me from a distance fear starts bursting through me making me shiver to the core my mind is burning with thought knowing my life could possibly be no more running toward a dead end with only the sound of breaking twigs keeping me company coming to a dead halt still hearing the twigs breaking one by one sudden darkness
