Ink Stains

MaryllisesRomantic

We sat on the bus today after school I took the blue vial of ink and gave it to you Warning, telling you that you shouldn't open it You did anyway Those ink stains on your hands Oh, I wish I could be a stain in your memory Never leaving always there My mother said something to me today The ones we love the most Can hurt us the most What if you hurt me? I like you more than most of my buddies What if, I end up liking you to the point I don't want you to leave I'll be sad to even think of that day where you walk out of my life When you leave my side You'' probably never talk to me again That ink stain on your shirt though Might just stick Maybe, just maybe I'll be in that ink stain Burning though your brain like a thought gone bad To see the ones we love leave Can be the worst To see our affections not be returned I hardly want to think about
