"Depression"

Depression is pain. You're hurting. You're hurting so bad... So you scream. You scream so loud. You scream louder than ever before. So loud your lungs burn... But no one hears you. No one listens to your cries for help. People pass by. You beg and plead, "HELP ME?" But they never even glance in your direction. So you suffer. You suffer by yourself. Suffer in silence. Alone in darkness. No one coming to your rescue. Not a soul will listen to your cries. The pain can be seen in your eyes. You feel it deep down in your soul. You feel your jaw flexing. Opening up to scream. You scream as you always do. You hear it.. but no one listens. So you continue to feel alone... You suffer alone in your pain. Only to find... You were never making a sound. Your mouth went through the motions. Your eyes said it all. But no one ever quite knew your pain existed. That is depression. Depression in its truest form.
