The Sun and I

messagetolCheerful

Oh, how the sun rises with ease, While I rise with lengthiness. The sun seems happy for the day anew, While I want to go back to sleep. The sun comes with open hands, I come with arms closed. The sun sees the day with joy, I see just another day. The sun is bright and cheery, I am bright after I had my coffee. The sun is always lively and ready to go, I am sometimes, but have my moments. The sun is surrounded by blue high in the sky, I am stuck on the ground, surrounded by concrete. The sun always moves east to west, My schedule can get pretty mixed and in all directions. The sun and I, Have some things in common though. The sun and I Like early morning sounds, Like the bird chirping and The rustle of leaves. The sun and I Like the summer days, Where all you want to do is Swim in a pool with friends. The sun and I Get lonely sometimes, Because we know who we are But some people don’t like that. The sun and I Know who we are, And don’t change it for no one. That’s why I admire the sun.
