Windows of Life

messagetolInspired

Have you ever been window shopping? Looking at things you won’t buy Wondering if you bought it, What that life could be? Passing by cars on a highway Seeing different people With different lives. It’s almost like Looking into our own stages of life At different views. Every window is You at past times. A window full of Rattles and dipers. Another filled with maccaroni necklaces, And kid parties at Papa Al’s. One filled with candy hearts From your mom, And broken hearts from puppy love. The latest one filled with pictures Of your high school sweetheart And the fun, unforgettable moments. With a passing by Of a window frame, It’s hard to forget the friends And memories that you will be leaving. All the pains and Long nights from there, still remembered. The memories and Events, cherished not forgotten. The feeling of a new window; Excitement, anxiouis, eager. But maybe some uneasy stomachs, Make the look harder. Leaving the familar past, For the unforgiving, unknown future. Remember the good feelings, Tell the others that: Without going to the future, You will have none. You could obtain new things, Even wildest dreams. One peek into the new window, Is for the better. Without looking, You never know what’s in store.
